This friendliest B&B, hosted since 2005 by Bart & Christa, have been a refuge for weary travellers, businessmen, students and a welcome haven for families.
Situated in the upmarket and leafy suburb of Kloofendal with the Kloofendal nature reserve forming our back fence, the peacefulness of the setting immediately attracts you. Combined with the sincere hospitality of Bart (retired accountant/businessman) and Christa (retired teacher), you immediately feel at home. As many guests acclaim ‘a home away from home’. Enjoy our swimming pool and look out over the nature reserve from our lapa with barbecue facilities where you quite often see the Mountain Rhebok and duiker grazing. Prolific bird life and stunning sunsets will entice you to return. The black eagles nesting in The Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens can often be seen gliding over the nature reserve looking for Dassie (Hyrax) or hare or even guinea fowl to prey upon.
We especially pride ourselves on a hearty breakfast to last and strengthen you through the day. Variety of cereals to choose from with yoghurt, tea/coffee/juice, toast your bread if you wish, scrumptious meaty and egg dishes. If you are lucky, you get the best Spanish tortilla in S.A. Full English breakfast not included in the current discount promotion, only cereal breakfast now included.
Our Rooms
The Autumn room has lovely views to the north all the way to Sandton.
The twin room is in an L shape with a single bed in each leg of the L.
The Studio is our self-catering unit with own outside entrance.

It doesn’t seem like much but wow the owners are amazing and so accommodating…. as I travel more than I am at home and I have been in the best and worst I can only say it is wonderful and at home here.

I am a regular visitor to At The View guest house with Bart and Christa. They make you feel like you are at home away from home. Very accommodating and always eager to please. I recently stayed with my 2 girls, they enjoyed the beautiful garden and pool facilities. I would highly recommend you to stay here.
